# Onboarding Tour for HumHub<\/div>\n
The Onboarding Tour module provides a fully configurable guided tour experience for new users in HumHub. It can prompt users to fill out relevant profile data as part of the onboarding process, while guiding them through key features and pages.<\/div>\n
The tour can be prepared and saved before activation, giving administrators time to finalize the experience before it becomes available to new users.<\/div>\n
## Features<\/div>\n
– **Customizable Tour**: Create and configure multi-step onboarding tour tailored to your community’s needs.<\/div>\n
– **Page Integration**: Use existing global Custom Pages and Profile Field Pages as tour steps.<\/div>\n
– **Profile Data Collection**: Prompt users to complete relevant profile fields during onboarding.<\/div>\n
– **Admin Management**: Easy-to-use admin interface for creating and editing tours.<\/div>\n
– **User-Friendly Interface**: Intuitive tour interface with navigation buttons, progress indicators, and skip option.<\/div>\n
– **Flexible Configuration**: Define tour steps with custom titles and descriptions.<\/div>\n
– **Memory of user progress**: The module remembers which pages a user has completed. When a new page is added to the onboarding tour, the user will be prompted to start the Onboarding again from this page.<\/div>\n
## Configuration<\/div>\n
Configure tours through the admin interface using available global Custom Pages or created Profile Field Pages to build personalized onboarding flows.<\/div>\n
## Profile Field Pages<\/div>\n
The module provides a simple, but flexible editor to create Profile Field Pages. These pages can be created and used as tour steps, letting administrators prompt users for relevant profile data while guiding them through the onboarding experience.<\/div>\n
– Page title + page description<\/div>\n
– Multiple sections with optional title and description<\/div>\n
– Configurable column layouts to display profile fields in a structured way<\/div>\n
– all editable profile fields are available<\/div>\n
– validation of profile fields just as in the user’s profile<\/div>\n
## Usage<\/div>\n
