Optimise your HumHub network for Google and Co.

Title and meta description

Title and description decide on how your site appears in search results and lets search engines better understand what your site is about.

HumHub is setting default page titles, however it is worth to adapt them to your individual HumHub platform.
A meta description is not set at all and therefore search engines can show strange results. With the SEO module yo can edit the page titles of all public pages. (Note: Sometimes Google and Co. show a specific excerpt of your page instead of the meta description, based on the search keywords. But in most cases your meta description will be used. Additionally, it helps Google to understand what is important on your page.)

Sitemaps

Requirement: Guest access must be enabled in your HumHub network.

The sitemaps contain:

• Spaces
• User profiles
• Wiki pages*
• Custom pages*
• eCommerce products*

... and global pages:

• Dashboard
• Spaces List
• Calendar*
• Legal pages*
• Members Map*
• Events Map*
• eCommerce Store*

Pages that are not visible to the public are ignored. More Details in the Documentation

Prevent search engines from indexing individual pages

Process of the purchase

After successful online payment you receive an e-mail with the subject "Your Felix Webdesign order is now complete". It contains the order summary and the license key. How you add it, is explained in the HumHub Documentation.

Within a few days up to one week you receive another e-mail with the invoice as PDF.

In the unexpected case that one of these steps does not work, please check your spam folder and otherwise contact us via e-mail or the contact form.

Renewal of the license

A license is for 1 year. The date of expiry is also in the e-mail "Your Felix Webdesign order is now complete".

The renewal fee for another year will be 35€ . You receive a reminder e-mail before the expiry date with the information on how to pay the renewal.

Theoretically, you can continue using the module after the license expired. But as you then don't receive any updates anymore, you might get compatibility issues.
